A baby was strapped to my back while another crawled around in the playground. I spent 12 hours days, for months, sanding and taking wallpaper off, all while carrying one kid. Ha! The whole thing was beginning to take shape, however it wasn't quite finished. To furnish the home, it was going to be an enormous undertaking with regards to budget and time. I would also have to do my favourite shopping. To stay within budget, I began going with my boys to estate sales in search of diamonds. The schedule we had for the week that included spending Thursday through Saturday walking around estate sales and garage sales buying old and new objects. I spent the rest of the week sanding and painting the driveway. Looked a little something like it... That's when my interest in the restoration of furniture first began. Although our house was furnished, I could not put down. In the market in town I was able to rent a tiny area and then sold a few items. I eventually had so many pieces I did...
