Jenna Fischer's most famous part is as Pam Beesly in the highly loved television show The Office. Fischer was awarded the award of two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her exceptional performance in the comedy's ensemble.
Her birthplace was Fort Wayne, Indiana, however, she grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. Jenna saw her mother, Anne, perform in the church when she was a child and was able to instill a love for theater and performing.
After finishing The Office, Fischer, an actress trained in theater, returned to her origins. She starred as Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway drama Reasons to be Happy. She went on to star in the world premiere of Steve Martin's latest show Meteor Shower, an absurdist comedy opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg, for a record-breaking performance at The Old Globe Theatre.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's most trusted friend on the real world and Fischer started with the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf at the end of October 2019. The podcast quickly was a hit. Every week it ranked within the Top Ten in global downloads, with over 200 million downloaded in the first couple years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She's also the co-author for Office BFF's Tales of The Office: From Two Best Friends there. The memoir deals with their relationship and working together on The Office.
